Eighteen Black Oak Doors, One Striking Finish

This Finchampstead project brought 18 Mendes ISEO black prefinished oak FD30 fire doors into one consistent installation. The work combined 12 panel doors with six matching clear glazed doors and was completed over three to four days.

The scale of the installation is part of what makes the result stand out. The same black oak finish runs through the property, with visible grain and horizontal detailing giving the doors depth and character.

Mendes ISEO Panel and Glazed Fire Doors

The installation included:

• 12 × Mendes Black Prefinished Oak ISEO Internal FD30 Fire Doors
• 6 × Mendes Black Prefinished Oak ISEO 1 Light Clear Glazed Internal FD30 Fire Doors

The six glazed doors allow light to pass between rooms while keeping the same colour and detailing as the panel doors. Dark lever handles carry the look through to the hardware, with white frames creating a sharp contrast around each doorway.

A Consistent Finish Across 18 Doorways

Against the property's warm timber floors and light walls, the black oak doors become a feature in their own right. The photographs show matching designs across carpeted areas and herringbone flooring, carrying the same look through different parts of the home.

Eighteen doors fitted, with a bold and consistent result throughout the property.
